Sisters 4 Hope Foundation is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization headquartered in Desoto, TX., that was founded in 2020. Our mission statement is to provide a second chance to at-risk women facing homelessness, who are victims of domestic violence, youth aging out of the foster care system, and female veterans with resources, advocacy, and long-term sanctuary; so, they can become self-sufficient and safe from harm. At Sisters 4 Hope Foundation we believe that all people are Made to Love, and everything we do is a representation of this. We show up each day with the purpose of empowering the women and of our community to rise up, conquer challenges and fulfill their dreams.

 

The Administrative positions will report directly to the Co-Founders of Sisters 4 Hope Foundation. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, experienced as an assistant in a fast-paced atmosphere.

Essential Job Duties:
  • Maintain daily calendars.
  • Ability to maintain social media presence a minimum of 3 times per day on Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter.
  • Answer incoming calls with a friendly, professional attitude.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with customers and employees.
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize workload in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience with generating reports.
  • Other administrative duties as assigned and a willingness to grow into additional responsibilities.
  • Ability to work independently and follow directions.
  • Excellent attendance is mandatory.
  • Type correspondence, forms narratives, travel vouchers, meeting notes, performance evaluations, file-related documents, and other documents to support the work of the Executive Director or Chief Financial Officer.
Education and Experience
  • High School or GED. Official transcript required.
  • Two years+ experience progressively in the administrative capacity.
  • Two years+ experience in Customer Service.
  • Enthusiasm for and positive representation of Sisters 4 Hope’s mission, goals, and culture.
  • Flexible schedule as some evenings and weekends may be required.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to represent Sisters 4 Hope Foundation to all types of audiences in a professional and engaging manner.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and project management skills, and the ability to work effectively.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
Additional Requirements
  • Ability to sit for extended periods of time.
  • Ability to work in excess of 8 hours per day if needed.
  • Ability to sit, stand, kneel as necessary to fulfill daily duties assigned.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and clearly.
  • Ability to work in a confidential capacity is mandatory.
